It's a mystery!

Year 5 have been writing mystery stories this week. We have been looking at fronted adverbials, complex sentences, interesting adjectives and 'red herrings'.

A lesson on short stories

Year 5 have been working hard in our English lessons on short stories. We have been analysing different short stories and presenting our findings to the rest of the class.




A Topic lesson on Greek architecture

Year 5 and 6 have been investigating Ancient Greek architecture in their Topic lessons this week. We have learned about the different type of columns and how they are still used in buildings today. We even created our own 2D models of the three different types of columns.
